HOW
TO WRINKLE-PROOF
YOUR SKIN
WRINKLES
are caused from Free Radical Damage, so you need to take
Anti-Oxidants orally and you need to rub them on your skin. These
are some of the best: Alpha-Lipoic Acid, CoQ10, Grapeseed Extract,
Olive Leaf Extract, DMAE, Royal Jelly, Super Oxide Dismutase,
Vitamins A, C, and E. Also, here are a few good cellular boosters
to look for: Aloe Vera (Stimulates collagen synthesis up to 8
times), Citrus Bioflavanoids, Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides, Essential
Fatty Acids (Linoleic and Linolenic), GAG’s, Amino Acids, and

are also caused by dehydration. Your dermis is 70% water. In order
to keep it hydrated so that your collagen-elastin network stays
flexible keeping your skin supple and smooth, you have to drink lots
of water. Not the kind from your faucet, either. That contains
fluoride and that causes wrinkles. Drink only spring water or water
from a highly sophisticated filtering system.
WRINKLES
are caused by the sun, as if you didn’t already know that. Do
I
need to repeat the stats on skin cancer? I don’t think so.
Let’s
just get 15 minutes of sun a day to get our Vitamin D and be happy,
because sunshine does help prevent depression.
WRINKLES
are pushed into your face at night when you smush (is that a word) it
in the pillow all night long. So sleep on your back. If you have to
sleep on your side, make sure your face is not touching the pillow. And
yes you need your beauty sleep. The Institute On Aging states

WRINKLES are caused from simple neglect. How many of my customers

FASHION FORECAST
This
is my favorite time of year. I love this time of year: the colors,
the smells, the temps, the festivals, etc. It’s a great
Fashion
Year. We looked at NEIMAN’S MAGNIFICENT SEVEN: Berry Colors,
Satin, Lace, Sleek Shapes, Romantic Blouses, High Vamp Shoes, and
Statement Jewelry. The HOT NEUTRAL color this year is GREY: Ash,
Oyster, Pewter, Gunmetal, Steel, Platinum, or Charcoal. ARTSY Prints
and PLAIDS are also popular with all the designers. Remember though,
not everyone can wear plaids and some of those prints should have a
young face attached above. JACKETS from long to short and Sweater
Coats are hot, too! Skirts for fall are MID-CALF with a boot. Straight
skirts are good to the knees. ACCESSORIES are all the rage
and the easiest way to update your wardrobe: get a new belt, scarf,
purse, and shoes and you’ve just created a BEAUTY BUNDLE that
can
be used with tons of outfits and you look like you just stepped off
the runway. Must haves are BOOTS and TIGHTS this year. I’m
not
into ruffles but I just have to buy one of those feminine blouses
this year. And finally, PANTS are not limited to one style: Skinny
legs (for skinny people), full legged, high-waisted trousers, higher
waisted jeans, and tuxedo pants are here.
COLOR
CAPSULE
Hope
you didn’t miss my demo on color capsules. But if you did
here’s
how to do one. First, color capsules can be made out of neutrals or
your best colors. Neutrals for warm-skinned people would be black,
brown, camel, ivory (off white), or tan. Neutrals for cool-skinned
people would be black, grey (with all the shades mentioned above),
and white. Warm colors to make capsules out of could be Turquoise,
Red, Green, or Rust. Cool people could choose Purple, Cranberry,
Royal Blue, or Pink.
Basically,
the idea is to buy one outfit like a suit and then add blouses,
pants, other skirts, vests, scarves, sweaters, other jackets,
gauchos, and even jeans to create at least 10 outfits. Whenever you
shop just remember what colors you are working on to extend your
wardrobe and keep adding. You might make up to 15 or 20 different
outfits that could take you all over Europe (if you got so lucky.) And
don’t forget about those Beauty Bundles that can make a plain
outfit go to Now and Wow instantly!!!!!
80/20 RULE
Someone
said that we wear 20% of our clothes 80% of the time. That
is probably true. But let me tell you a secret to extending your
wardrobe and never wear the same thing twice in a year (well almost.)
Buy 20% of your wardrobe in bottoms: pants and skirts. Buy 80% of
your wardrobe in tops: vests, blouses, sweaters, jackets, shells,
tubes, knit tops, etc. Getting the idea? Keep your bottoms simple,
classic, and neutral and tops could be endless. You could probably
wear the same pants all week and a different top each day and no one
would ever know. Happy shopping girls!!!!!
FALL FACES
Red lips are back from rosy wines to raspberry hues. Eyeshadow is
back, too. For the last two years while we’ve been in Europe,
I’ve
noticed their use of color on the eyes. Colors that matched their
